iConcertCal integrates with Apple’s iTunes, analyzes the music in your iTunes library, and presents you with a personalized calendar. On this calendar iConcertCal displays concert or show dates, album release dates, and shows your friends are interested in. Click a concert date for example and you will be directed to ticketmaster.com so you can purchase a ticket for that concert.

iConcertCal, just like iTunes, is available for Apple’s Mac OS X and for Microsoft’s Windows operating system. Close iTunes, download the iConcertCal installer, run it, follow the instructions presented by a setup wizard, and in little time you will have iConcertCal up and running on your Windows-powered machine.

You won’t see iConcertCal when you launch iTunes. To see it you must click on Show Menu Bar (Ctrl + B). From the View Menu, the Visualizer submenu, you must check iConcertCal. Then, from the same View Menu, you must click on Show Visualizer (Ctrl + T).

iConcertCal displays three tabs in the upper left hand corner: My Shows, CD Releases, and Fired Shows. Underneath these tabs it presents a list of shows and releases. To the right it presents a calendar – the dates for upcoming concerts and releases are clearly marked on the calendar. Click on an event and your browser will launch and take you to a website where you can purchase tickets.

iConcertCal uses two elements to present concerts and album releases on its calendar: the music in your iTunes library and your location. It supports searches in the US, in the UK, and in Canada.

iConcertCal is a free plug-in for iTunes.

Never miss out on concerts and album releases. Get iConcertCal, a free plug-in for iTunes, and it will display upcoming concerts and album releases on a personalized calendar within iTunes.
